First Entry

My name is Erica Humphreys. Some interests of mine include sports, camping, boating, and being with my friends. The sports I plan on playing this year are volleyball, basketball, and tennis. I love being up north with my family and going to the beach with my friends. In my future, I hope to go to college and do something in the medical field. I am not exactly sure what yet, but hopefully I figure it out in my last year of high school. 

I am taking this course to challenge myself. My sister told me that she wished she would have taken this course because it would have been useful for her in college. It will be nice to refresh my memory on biology and also learn things in greater depth. I haven't seen much biology related material since sophomore year and I wish to revisit this information before I go to college. 

 I hope to get a good grade in this course by the end. I also hope to gain knowledge in biology to make sure that something medical is what I wish to go into. I also hope to get a good score on the AP test and hopefully get college credit to Michigan State. I hope I find biology something exciting and challenging that I wish to continue in the future.
